When we started our careers, some of us may have asked ourselves questions which career paths to take while others simply available job opportunities. - What do you really want to do?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What kind of skills, training or education do you have?
Some fresh graduates and experienced employees expect to look for jobs in traditional ways- by applying to jobs intended for their college degrees or by applying to whatever positions are ‘conveniently’ available with Employers. It will become easier if you try to find out what’s really out there for you and try to fit in based on your current skills and knowledge. If you already know what your key strengths are, then finding a job that you will love for years to come will not feel like it’s a race towards the finish line.

When trying to figure out what you can do or want to do first, always try to look for a job that can closely fit your skills, training or education to increase your chances of finding the right career path. Even if you have to go through experiencing other jobs first in order to help you discover this.
It’s actually okay if you haven’t figured out yet the long term career that you would like to commit yourself to. Just remember to ask yourself these same questions someday in order for you to be happy and fulfilled with your line of work. Always keep in check your strengths and weaknesses, and always be open for skills training in order to improve yourself.
